Thorndon Park Jet

Thorndonpark jet sire: nebo prince dam:thorndonpark jazmin by: glantraeth haig. We purchased Jet from claire willis-Burton in Febuary 2003 we are great fans of Nebo prince and absolutley love the type of cob that Jet was and thought he would be a fantastic cross for our D mares. I broke him to ride more or less straight away as Jet had only been shown a handful of times and had mainly done stud duties. winning at the Royal Bath & West show 2nd at Glanusk etc. Jet was a natural for the ridden job he absolutley loved it and went on to win many shows and championships and supreme championships undersaddleI In the spring of 2003 Jet started his full season out inhand with us at Dycott. He was unbeaten and a medal winner. The following year 2004 he had more or less the same result and medal winner again. In 2005 Jet spent the season running with his mares. Then in 2006 we decided to show him again Jet only did 2 shows the first was Eastern wp&ca summer show where he won. Then off we took him to the Royal Welsh- welll what can I say! What a very emotional but happy time for us jet won the senior stallion class out of a class of 38 of the best stallions in England and Wales, and going on to be Male champion and Gold medal winner and Res Prince of Wales cup Champion. I was so overcome and just couldnt take it all in that I started crying uncontrollably, a win that we will never forget. Jet gained many champiomships undersaddle from 2007 to 2009 with Nicole Musson in Suffolk.
